Of all of Hetty's (Linda Hunt) agents, Sam (LL Cool J) is the one who has his life completely figured out. Deeks (Eric Christian Olsen) and Kensi (Daniela Ruah) are heading in the right direction, Callen (Chris O'Donnell) was making strides towards domesticity, but Sam is the only agent who has successfully managed to juggle a thriving family life with the dangerous demands of the OSP.

Soon, however, the former Navy SEAL will see his careful balancing act thrown into disarray.

"Before the season is out, Sam will face something that will challenge his abilities as a father, an NCIS agent and a former Navy SEAL," executive producer R. Scott Gemmell teased, according to TV Insider.

It's his past, present, and future all rolled into one problem, and it sounds as if the back end of the season may knock Agent Hanna off his feet. Sam dealt with the complicated intersection of his work and home life when his CIA wife was brought in to work the Siderov case in season 4. While Michelle (Aunjanue Ellis) is perfectly capable of taking care of herself, the Hanna children are a different story entirely. Will they find their way into the storyline as season 7 comes to a close?
