Prabal Gurung's new spring collection will launch exclusively at Target on Feb. 10. The launch party for the designer's new line was held Feb. 6 at Pier 57 in New York CIty. Celebrites and others who attended the event were able to preview the clothes from Gurung's new collection.

R&B singer Ne-Yo performed his hit songs Let Me Love You (Until You Learn To Love Yourself, Give Me Everything, Let's Go and a song from his new album R.E.D.  at the event.

Gurung launched his first collection at the New York Fashion Week in February 2009. His designs have been worn by Zoe Saldana, Lady Gaga, Jennifer Lawrence, Demi Moore, Oprah Winfrey, Michelle Obama, and Kate Middleton.

Gurung, who lives in New York City, began his design career in New Delhi, India. After assisting stylists for fashion shows in Melbourne and London, he moved to New York City in 1999 and worked wtih Donna Karan while attending Parsons School of Design. He received the "best designer" title in his first year at the school.

In 2010, he received the Ecco Domani Fashion Fund Award and a nomination for the 2010 CFDA Swarovski Womenswear Award. In November 2010, Prabal was awarded runner up for the 2010 CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund.
