Dec. 17, just another work day for Officers Reuben Gonzales, David Mayer, and Ryan Babel. On that same day, they responded to a call about a deer trapped in a canal near Lake Pleasant.

Not knowing what they'd find, they simply knew that it was their duty as officers to help save lives, even animals.

When they arrived on the scene, they found the deer swimming for its life, but he wasn't alone. The poor deer is about to be saved by two cowboys.
