If you thought Blindspot's midseason finale was mind-blowing, you should brace yourself for the season finale arc.

Blindspot is rolling out answers to its central mystery at breakneck speed, joining Quantico in quickly deviating from the excruciatingly long payout formula favored by the likes of The Blacklist. "Evil Handmade Instrument" played in integral role in busting down the door to Jane Doe's (Jaimie Alexander) past, but the video reveal is nothing compared to what series creator Martin Gero has planed next.

When Blindspot returns from its long winter hiatus, the back half of the season will read more like a sophomore run.

"It kind of feels like, network television now - and I think it's great - we basically do two cable seasons a year, so it almost feels like a whole other season, and we're getting into breaking those last few episodes, and you're not gonna believe 20, 21, 22 and 23," Gero teased, according to Variety.

What lies ahead for Jane, Weller (Sulivan Stapleton), and Co.? With an "enormous amount of story" to run though, it's safe to say that the amnesiac enigma will be in for a wild ride.
