Kendall and Kylie Jenner are growing up and pursuing ventures outside of the Kardashian umbrella. The stylish sisters have collaborated with the surf club fashion company, Pac Sun, to create a line of clothing for their teen audience.

“Kendall & Kylie X Pacsun” is an exclusive collection that brings through the California spirit with pieces ranging from outerwear to accessories. The sisters visited the Long Island, NY Pac Sun location to greet their fans and celebrate the launch.

Kylie, 15, who is just as fashion-focused as her model sister, Kendall, said they were inspired to create the line from big sisters Kim, Khloe and Kourtney.

“We watched our sisters do their clothing line – when the opportunity came to us we jumped on it. We’ve always been interested in fashion and all that so it was great and it worked out perfectly,” she said.

Kendall, 17, who has a budding modeling career, said they are not competitive with one another.

“No not at all. I think we’re both in two kinds of separate areas,” she said.

Last week, the sisters walked alongside their mother, Kris Jenner, in the Heart Truth Red Dress Collection Fashion Show during New York Fashion Week. The sisters sauntered simultaneously down the runway, wearing red, figure-hugging gowns to raise awareness for heart disease.

Recently, in the March issue of Glamour Magazine, Kendall opened up about the pressures of being in the public eye, from online bullying to being harassed by the paps.

“We appreciate everything that we have, but we don’t remember what it’s like to be normal kids who aren’t harassed by the paparazzi. I hate that. We’re underage girls. I don’t want to be followed by random men I don’t know. It can also be hard to deal with other kids who are jealous or mean. I can’t post a picture on Instagram without being criticized,” Kendall shared.
