Drake and Chris Brown continue to battle with one another but now the bout will happen in court.

The singers reportedly sued each other for a brawl that happened back in June 2012 at W.i.P nightclub in New York City, according to TMZ

The fight reportedly started while both Brown and Drake were in the VIP area. Drake delivered the hot-tempered Brown a note that read, "I'm f---ing the love of your life," which referred to Brown's now on-again girlfriend, pop star Rihanna.

Both Drake and Brown have now filed legal documents, which have been acquired by TMZ, pointing at each other for starting the fight last summer. They reportedly are requesting that the judge place blame on the other for the incident.

Drake and Brown each state they were not the cause of the fight.

Romain Julien, a French male model, also filed a lawsuit against Brown, Drake and the nightclub for the severed tendon injury he suffered in his right hand during the bottle-throwing brawl, according to the New York Post.

"During the altercation, plaintiff, who was sitting at a separate table, was caused to be severely injured" in his right hand from glass-caused lacerations, as quoted from his lawsuit.

David Jaroslawicz, the attorney for Julien, said that his client already endured operations on his hand and the model may not gain the full use of it again. He further added that the injury may have put Julien's modeling career at risk.

In the event that Julien wins his lawsuit, both singers want the other to pay any damages sought by the French model.

It will mark the first time that Brown and Drake, both of whom have been romantically linked to Rihanna, have taken their rift inside of a courtroom.
