In addition to the sad news of Mike Shouhed and Jessica Parido's divorce, fans can look forward to a more positive story line with the engagement of Mercedes Javid and her new mystery fiancé.
"Yes, it's true. I got engaged a few months ago," Javid confirmed to E! News on Saturday. "I'm ecstatic. I'm so happy."

"I'll wait to say who I'm engaged to. No one knows him," she teased. "We've been dating for a little over a year. It was captured for the new season so everyone will be able to see it."
On Instagram, Javid has shared a number of photos of her soon-to-be husband, but has yet to reveal who he is.
Meanwhile, Javid's co-star, Shouhed, is doing his best to move on from Parido after the devastating news of her divorce filing in November of last year.
After tying the knot in March 2015, Parido announced to In Touch Weekly that she had filed for divorce after discovering Shouhed was unfaithful to her.
“Barely six months after our [March 29] wedding, I found endless texts with different girls that he would meet up with and have sex with," Parido alleged. "There were graphic text messages about sex and his penis size. It was disgusting."
Shahs of Sunset season five premieres this spring on Bravo.
