Kim Richards and her sister, Kyle, aren't in a good place during the currently airing episodes of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, and tonight, fans will watch as Kyle reacts to Kim's latest arrest.

While things between them weren't great during filming, likely due to Kim's alcohol relapse, Kim has since gotten sober, and during a new interview, Kyle revealed their relationship is now in a healthier place.

It is "a work in progress," Kyle told Access Hollywood, via People Magazine on Tuesday, but they're "very good, and that makes me happy."

In fact, according to Kyle, she and Kim were together just last night when Kim stopped by her Los Angeles home to help her daughter Alexia Umansky, 19, get ready to return to school at Emerson College in Boston.

"She's doing really well. She's good. She seems solid, and she looks beautiful and healthy and happy," Kyle said of Kim.

As for Brandi Glanville, a friend of Kim's, Kyle said she was happy to film without her during season six.

"I don't have to shoot with someone if I don't want to, and I don't have to invite someone to a party if I don't want to," Kyle explained. "If you're making a reality show ... and you want it to be as real and authentic as possible, how does it make sense if none of us want to spend any time with her? She did that with herself. She personally made it impossible for me to shoot with her."

"I didn't want to be tortured anymore!" she added.
