Star Wars: The Force Awakens is all people have been buzzing about--and rightfully so, since it's such an epic installment especially with Daisy Ridley's superb performance as Rey.

The British actress was an unknown in the movie industry coming into the role, but now everyone is talking about her and wants to know everything there is to know about her.

In October the 23-year-old chatted with Interview Magazine about not being "an uberfan" of Star Wars upon auditioning for the part, amongst other things, like who her role models were when she was younger.

7 Things To Know About 'Star Wars: The Force Awakens' Star Daisy Ridley

It turns out, like many children in 1996, Ridley was a huge fan of Matilda, which starred Mara Wilson as the title character. The movie is based off of Ronald Dahl's book of the same name, in which Matilda has the worst parents ever and a horrible principal, but the most wonderful teacher who totally understands her and recognizes that she's a genius.

"Well, my favorite film was Matilda. So I'm going to say the little girl in that. I aspired to be like her. [Laughs] I wanted to be a girl who could make a jug of water tip into a glass," Ridley admitted.

It's understandable, too, since when Matilda released Ridley was 4 years old. What little girl at the time didn't want to be like the title character?

In mid-December Wilson responded to a tweet mentioning Ridley's interview.

"So nice!" Wilson said of Ridley calling her a childhood hero.

"I'm so honored," Wilson gushed in another tweet.

In another tweet Wilson admitted to being a huge Star Wars fan and how she "used to dream of being in" one of the films. While that hasn't happened she feels pretty good considering she inspired Ridley and Ridley has a lead role in the latest film.

"But inspiring someone is even better!" she dished.

Ridley got wind of Wilson's reaction to her interview just last week during the holidays.
