Being a teenager is awkward enough as it is, but for the cast of Girl Meets World, having to kiss on screen can make those adolescent woes even worse.

'Girl Meets World' Season 3 Episode Titles Announced! Premiere Scoop

Rowan Blanchard's Riley Matthews is dipping her toe into the world of first dates and first kisses, and that means the Disney star was primed for a little season 2 lip locking. Unsurprisingly, Blanchard was as nervous as her character.

"Well, I was uncomfortable with it in the very beginning, because I didn't know what to expect," the 14-year-old actress said, according to Just Jared Jr, explaining that her co-star Sabrina Carpenter (Maya) had already had her first on screen kiss by time Riley and Lucas (Peyton Meyer) jumped that hurdle.

"It was kind of a weird thing for me because you're doing in front of a bunch of writers and everything; it's a strange setting," Blanchard continued. "It'll never normalize itself, but I think now I'm fine with it. When it was first initiated, I didn't know what to expect from the whole situation overall. It was fine, though, because we're all so close that I don't think we would damage any relationships."

Considering the Riley/Lucas/Maya love triangle is still heating up, Blanchard probably has many more Girl Meets World kisses in her future. Who knows how the Rucas and Lucaya story will play out?
