The People's Choice Awards 2016 are set to go down tonight on CBS, featuring noteworthy performances by Shawn Mendes and Jason Derulo and hundreds of your favorite pop culture stars.

The 42nd annual People's Choice Awards will air starting at 9 p.m. ET/PT on CBS, honoring the most popular movies, music, television and digital. This year's awards will be hosted by Jane Lynch.

As stated, Mendes and Derulo will perform at this year's show, while Ellen DeGeneres will receive the special Favorite Humanitarian award.

"I am so honored to be receiving the People's Choice Humanitarian Award. I think it sums me up perfectly as I am both a human and an itarian," DeGeneres quipped, in a statement.
