Chuckie the dog has been away from his loved ones for five years. Fortunately, the folks from The Humane Society of the United States helped him to be with his family again.

The poor chocolate lab was found by rescuers chained in a filthy place. After the rescuers scanned his microchip, they found out that his name is Chuckie and he has been away from his home in Indiana for five years. They brought Chuckie to his home and once the dog saw his family, he immediately ran toward his owners and the emotional moment happened.

This was a much needed help for Chuckie because the dog's probable food source is only a rotting deer carcass and it is not good for his health.

Aside from Chuckie, the organization has rescued 166 dogs and cats in Adams County, Ohio.
