On Valentine’s Day, Vin Diesel revealed one of his hidden talents to his throng of Facebook fans: he can sing.

The Fast and Furious actor tapped into his emotional side by delivering a sentimental cover performance of Rihanna’s falsetto-hit Stay.

Most likely inspired by the 24-year-old’s solemn performance at this year’s Grammy Awards, the action star grabbed his microphone and belted out 3 minutes and 57 seconds of the tune with the nearly nude video of Rihanna playing in the background. The video was posted on to the social networking site Thursday morning.

The 45-year-old was a little pitchy but overall not a terrible singer, according to the majority of commenters. Some of the viewers said they loved his voice and asked for him to give music a serious try. However, there’s no sign that the actor would trade in his day job for a music career especially since he has a new movie in the works.

A preview commercial for the actor’s high-speed action flick Fast and the Furious: 6 aired during the 2013 Super Bowl.

Vin Diesel, Paul Walker and Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson return for for the $1.5 billion movie franchise; the last Fast & Furious film alone grossed a reported $626 million worldwide.

The new film picked up directly where the characters left off after Rio, where the team scattered around the world after they split $100 million following a successful heist. The film bought back Fast & Furious vets Jordana Brewster, Michelle Rodriguez, Tyrese Gibson, Sung Kang, Gal Gadot, Chris “Ludacris” Bridges and Elsa Pataky. Also joining the cast are newcomers Luke Evans and Gina Carano.

In the film, Hobbs asked the gang to meet in London to tackle a group of lethally-skilled mercenary drivers in exchange for full pardons allowing them to return home.

Fast & Furious 6 will be in theaters Memorial Day 2013.
