They're leaving town to take jobs in California, but before Robin (Kimberly McCullogh) and Patrick (Jason Thompson) leave Port Charles, they will celebrate with all their loved ones one last time on General Hospital.

Patrick & Robin Make A Life-Changing Decision

The two will have an impromptu wedding--their last and final one--to not only celebrate with their friends and family who they're leaving behind, but to appease their daughter, Emma (Brooklyn Rae Silzer), who wants them to have the ceremony before going off on their new adventure. However, things won't necessarily go off as well as hoped initially, and the crisis that arises will be one that Maxie (Kirsten Storms) will be worried about ruining the big day.

"I've broken your trust and ruined your big day," Maxie says to Robin in a preview clip for the Thursday, Jan. 7 episode.

However, the wedding should still manage to go off without a hitch, and by the end of the day, Robin and Patrick will once again be married and ready to head off on their new adventure as a family. But before they go, there will be some emotional goodbyes they need to say--including one between Patrick and Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst).

"Thank you for being such a good friend to me," she says to Patrick in the clip.

General Hospital airs Monday-Friday at 3 p.m. on ABC.
