Actor Taylor Kinney is a big fan of his fiancée, Lady Gaga's, participation in FX's American Horror Story: Hotel.

'American Horror Story' Star Matt Bomer Talks Lady Gaga's Invaluable Career Advice

Gaga stars as The Countess in American Horror Story: Hotel, her first major acting role. Kinney, who is an actor himself and currently stars in NBC's Chicago Fire, spoke with PopSugar about going to the set of the horror anthology series.

"It's pretty amazing. You know, I think that from the top down, Ryan Murphy put together an amazing cast of characters," Kinney raved. "And the sets are pretty opulent, they're pretty neat. I think it suits my fiancée's taste pretty well . . . I wish I would have gotten to meet the entire cast! I got to meet some people. I don't know, I met Ryan. I think he's a visionary. I thought it was pretty neat to see what comes and might go on paper, and then goes to the screen. I'm always impressed with people who can exorcise ideas like that."

Should Lady Gaga Return For Season 6 Of 'American Horror Story'?

Gaga's acting in American Horror Story has definitely paid off, as she received a Golden Globe nomination and a People's Choice Award nomination for her performance. It remains to be seen if she will receive an Emmy nomination this summer; a big star like Gaga may be too big for the Television Academy to ignore.

It also remains to be seen if Gaga will return to American Horror Story for season 6. The pop superstar recently admitted to feeling "miserable" before she signed on for the series, so she may want to continue her healthy creative relationship with the show.

American Horror Story: Hotel airs its finale Wednesday at 10 p.m. ET/PT on FX.
