Dating is tricky, and despite being gorgeous, the cops of Hawaii Five-0 have had their fair share of dating disasters. This Valentine's Day, viewers will be treated to an inside look at the worst of the worst.

Cupid's arrow will miss it's mark when McGarrett (Alex O'Loughlin), Danny (Scott Caan), Chin (Daniel Dae Kim), and Kono (Grace Park) flashback to the dates that left them signaling for the check.

"A Valentine's Day-themed hour uses an 'unconventional; format to flash back to awful dates for Steve/Lynn, Danny/Amber, Chin/Abby, Kono/Adam and even Jerry, Kamekona and their respective admirers," TV Line teased on Tuesday.

For Steve and Chin, these dates will be fresh in their minds. Lynn (Sarah Carter) and Abby (Julie Benz) didn't arrive on the scene until early season 6, which means the nascent couples will have weathered a disastrous outing during a critical stage. For McGarrett and Lynn, you would think the time they were nearly killed by mobsters would qualify as their worst date, but apparently not.

It will be refreshing to see all of Five-0's couples spending a little quality time together - Amber (Lili Simmons) has yet to make a season 5 appearance, Kono and Adam's (Ian Anthony Dale) last few months have been an outright disaster, and Abby and Chin have only been seen in a workplace context.
