Reports confirm that the former Power Rangers star is officially charged with the murder of his roommate. Previously, Ricardo Medina, Jr. was arrested for the crime last January 2015.

Though the 36-year-old star was arrested last year, he was eventually released pending for further investigation of evidence. But this time, Medina is again arrested and charged with one count of murder. Us Weekly confirms with the District Attorney’s Office of Los Angeles that he could probably face up to 26 years behind bars.

It was previously reported that the former Power Rangers star stabbed his roommate, Joshua Sutter multiple times with a sword at their Green Valley, California house. The two men were reportedly arguing before the incident happened.

According to the L.A. County District Attorney's office, Medina is scheduled to be arraigned at the Antelope Valley Branch of the Los Angeles County Superior Court on Tuesday, Jan. 19, and prosecutors will ask that his bail be set at $1 million. The case remains under investigation.

Medina is best known for playing the red power ranger in the TV shows Power Rangers Wild Force (2002) and Power Rangers Samurai (2011 to 2012). He also voiced the character Deker in the video game Power Rangers Super Samurai in 2012.
