The CIA's Peter Quinn (Rupert Friend) closed out season 5 in a coma, and death seemed close at hand courtesy of Carrie Mathison (Claire Danes). Unfortunately, there is a catch. The Quinn who might return will be very different from the man we once knew.

"Quinn is severely damaged - there is no question about it," Gary Levine, Showtime's programming president, told The Hollywood Reporter. "If he should live, it will not be in any way, shape or form the way he has lived to date."
