With the hit British-American series Downton Abbey on a hiatus until Season four starts up again, many of the show's loyalists are scouring the web for the latest scoop on their favorite show.

While in attendance for a new production of Macbeth in London, actors Allen Leech (Tom Branson) and Laura Carmichael (Edith Crawley) dished some of the show's details to Red Carpet News while also elaborating on the play they were in attendance for.

Leech confirmed that Downton Abbey Season four would be going into production in three short weeks. He also acknowledged that Mary's character would be the focal point for many of the storylines, as she looks to move forward from the death of her husband Matthew Crawley, who was played by the now departed Dan Stevens.

Leech added that there's some exciting scenarios that will come up during the middle of the season, especially for Branson.

Branson is said to continue wearing his heart on his sleeve in his quest to woo Sybil. The respective declaration will supposedly leave "a significant impression on him for months to come."

Executive producer Gareth Neame had previously addressed Branson's unideal predicament and the obstacles that the character will face to Entertainment Weekly.

"I mean obviously, he is in a similar situation [as Mary] really. We know he's a widow and he has a young child. Again, he has huge dilemmas to face."

For Carmichael, the actress gave her word to Red Carpet News that her character of Edith had some exciting things coming up. She was faced with an interesting conflict at the end of Season three as to whether she should trust her heart, or the wishes of her family. Carmichael said that it's far more than Mary who is still grieving the death of Matthew.

Information on the upcoming season of Downton Abbey will be posted right here on Enstarz as it's revealed.
