Selena Gomez is scheduled to headline the Radio Disney Music Awards live from Los Angeles' Nokia Theatre on April 27, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Other performers signed on to take the stage are Bridgit Mendler, Cody Simpson, Austin Mahone, Cher Lloyd and Coco Jones.

The Radio Disney Music Awards honors the most popular recording artists among kids and tweens voted by the public. Fans will cast their votes in categories that include Ultimate Breakout Star, Biggest Viral Artist, XOXO: Best Crush Song and So FANtastic: Fiercest Fans.

Five youngsters from around the U.S. will be chosen to receive the Heroes for Change award, celebrating their efforts to make a difference in their local communities. The Youth Service Award will also be given to one child per market between the ages of five and 18, an honor that gives them a $500 grant for their community service project and invites them be awarded on stage at the April ceremony with one of their favorite celebrities.

Tickets for the Radio Disney Music Awards are currently on sale at Ticketmaster.

Before Gomez performs at the award ceremony in April she is up for two nominations at the Kid's Choice Awards, which will air on March 23. The Who Says singer is nominated alongside Miranda Cosgrove, Mendler and Victoria Justice in the category of Favorite TV Actress. The Disney channel show she starred in, Wizards of Waverly Place, is nominated for Favorite Show with iCarly, Good Luck Charlie and Victorious.

This is the last year Wizards will be up for a nomination in the respective category; the show aired its final episode in January of 2012. Gomez will executive-producer and star in a television movie based off of the series called The Wizards Return: Alex vs. Alex, airing on March 15 at 8 p.m. EST.
