Jeff Probst has been hosting CBS's Survivor for 32 seasons now, but is he getting tired of the gig?

'Survivor' Host Jeff Probst Teases Special 'Super Idol' For Next Season

Survivor and Probst have been synonymous with each other ever since the groundbreaking first season of the reality show in 2000. The host is now entering his 16th year as the host, and according to a new People report, he has no intention of stopping now.

"I've got a great job that has me doing what I love," Probst said. "I'm looking forward to many more seasons."

The host is still excited about Survivor even in 2016 - which is evident both on and offscreen.

"Anybody who meets me and talks about Survivor always walks away with the same takeaway: 'Wow, that guy is still super enthusiastic,'" he said. "I know there are some people who question whether it's authentic. I promise you, it's 100 percent real."

Probst spoke on how he is fascinated by "human behavior," which he added is something you either understand or you don't.

"If you love human behavior, you know what I'm talking about. If you don't love human behavior, you think I'm speaking gobbledygook," he said.

The host did admit in a September interview with The New York Times that he was tempted to quit after season 17, a.k.a. Survivor: Gabon. CBS president Les Moonves told Probst to take some time off, and he eventually came back re-energized.

As it stands now, we're probably going to have Probst as a host for at least the foreseeable future.

"When you add in this carrot of a million dollars and you drop these land mines along the way, it gets really interesting," he said in his People interview. "Then you mention that there are 19 other people who also want the money, and it gets really, really interesting. It just never gets old."

Survivor: Kaoh Rong - Brawn vs. Brains vs. Beauty premieres on Wednesday, Feb. 17 at 8 p.m. ET/PT on CBS.
