Making a Murderer subject Steven Avery's brother has now weighed in on the murder case.

'Making A Murderer' Creators Answer Claims They Left Out Evidence

Avery's brother Earl spoke with Access Hollywood recently and claimed Teresa Halbach's car was not on Avery property at the time of the murder.

"We drove right through there, where that car was supposed to be and it wasn't there," Earl explained. "That night of the 31st, we were rabbit hunting."

Why Is 'Making a Murderer's Steven Avery Feeling 'Extremely Positive' Now?

Halbach's car was found on Steven's property during the investigation into her murder, which helped build the case against Steven.

Earl also discussed the lack of blood found in Steven's garage. While law enforcement concluded that he and nephew Brendan Dassey must have cleaned up all the blood, Earl is suspicious of one detail.

"If somebody's going to slice somebody's throat, you know, there's going to be blood--something," Earl noted. "And they say they cleaned up in the garage, but there's all dust and everything all over everything. How do you clean up and then put the dust back?"

As for Steven's claims that his brothers could have possibly killed Halbach, Earl suggested his brother was persuaded by his attorneys.

"[Steven] told me that his lawyers told him to say that, and he told me that he was frustrated that we wouldn't talk to him or go up and see him," Earl said.

Making a Murderer is currently available to stream in full on Netflix.
