They had a shocking split off-screen, but their relationship's end doesn't mean that Quinn (Rena Sofer) and Deacon (Sean Kanan) won't have a reason to still work together on The Bold and the Beautiful.

According to reports, Deacon will finally return to the canvas on the soap when he goes looking for his soon-to-be ex-wife-and is stunned when he finds an amnesiac Liam (Scott Clifton) in her bedroom at the Topanga cabin. However, despite warning her that what she has done is going to likely wind up getting her put in a padded cell one day, he could potentially go with her crazy scheme.

Since taking Liam to the cabin and learning he had amnesia, Quinn has since told him that his name is Adam, and she is his wife, Eve-and the two have even shared a makeout session. She will think that the jig is up once Deacon arrives-but after explaining she just needs time to ensure that Wyatt (Darin Brooks) has a chance to really sweep Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) off her feet and steal her away from Liam for good, Deacon may shock her by deciding to go along with the plot.

It is unclear what could possibly persuade Deacon to go through with the scheme, since he has seen Quinn's meddling to get Wyatt married off to one of Liam's exes work out badly before with his own daughter, Hope. Unless he knows Hope may be considering coming home again, and he thinks that only way to get her back will involve making sure Wyatt is no longer a distraction because he is happily with someone else, his reasons for making sure Steffy winds up with his former son-in-law/stepson, are unclear.

The Bold and the Beautiful airs Monday-Friday at 1:30 p.m. on CBS.
