Nene Leakes had an accident in Beverly Hills on Tuesday that frightened both her and her pooch. The Real Housewives of Atlanta star left her car keys inside her locked vehicle in Beverly Hills alongside her Yorkie named Playa.

The reality star became so distressed that she called local police and an officer was able to unlock her car doors and free her pooch inside, according to TMZ.

Despite the incident that stressed her out today, Leakes has a bright future ahead of her - the mother-of-two is set to wed her ex-husband Greg Leakes, 58, later this year.

Leakes announced her second engagement to her ex-husband on Late Night With Jimmy Fallon on Jan. 3. The subject came up when the show's host inquired about a series of photos Nene posted on Twitter on New Year's Eve.

"You start tweeting out these photos," Fallon said while holding up copies of the romantic pictures the she posted on the social media site. "So, are you engaged? Can you say anything?"

Nene replied, "Well.... a little after midnight, I was asked this beautiful question: 'Will you marry me -- again?'"

Three days after she announced her engagement to her ex-husband, the couple appeared on Bravo's Watch What Happens Live on Jan. 6. Leakes told the show's host Andy Cohen that she "never really wanted to divorce Gregg."

"I believe that as women, you have to stand for something or fall for anything, and I think that we teach men how to treat us. And I had to stand, honey!" Nene explained. "Take it for what it's worth."

The couple met in 1996 and divorced in 2011 after 13 years of marriage. Together they have a son, Brentt, 13. Nene also has a son from a previous relationship. Gregg said that the couple split when "fame got to (Nene's) head" after he had invested $300,000 in her career during their marriage.

Nene is currently starring on both NBC's The New Normal in addition to The Real Housewives Of Atlanta.
