Fans are definitely despairing the end of The Good Wife with season 7 but trust the rumors of spinoffs to give fans hope.

A new TVLine article has actually set out a list of various spinoffs with different characters from the show that might be appealing for fans. In fact the rumors are not absolutely baseless as the showrunner didn't rule the possibility out in a recent interview.

During a conference call with the press creators, Robert and Michelle King addressed the big spinoff question.

"At this point, nothing's off the table," Michelle said. "Sure, maybe, we're not saying no to anything."

Additionally Robert King also had ideas for such a show.

"What would be fun is to find a way to spin off a [cast member] that wasn't at the center, who we wish we had more time with," he said. "The show always centered around the Alicia character. What's appealing would be pursuing a different ensemble."

The Good Wife is on its way out with season 7, a CBS commercial spot for the series during the Super Bowl revealed.

The next episode, 'Monday,' of The Good Wife will air on February 14 on CBS.
