Hit The Floor might have been on hiatus Monday night because of the Grammy Awards, but a new sneak peek reveals the drama picks up right where it left off in the upcoming episode on VH1.

Sloan is staying a hotel in hopes of being protected from Oscar’s wrath, and it looks like she is pushing Pete away in the process for her own reasons. He tries to explain why he sided with Terrence and Jelena in their attempt to take over the team recently. But Sloan isn’t trying to hear it.

“It’s a little late to talk about why you went to the league with Terrence and Jelena…The damage is done.”

She made it clear that while Oscar started all of the sneakiness and tension, she planned to “finish it” as his trial for Olivia’s death draws closer. But she also said she can’t “Trust anyone from the outside,” including Pete.

An officer then introduces herself as the conversation starts to get a little heated and tells Pete he has to leave so they can secure the room. He still has a few things he needs to get off of his chest, so he tells her they need to continue the conversation when he returns. But Sloane isn’t for that either.

“I wouldn’t be surprised if someone was following you too. Maybe you shouldn’t come back for awhile.”
