The appearance of the Darkness have the Winchesters wondering where the big man upstairs is hiding, and the brothers may get a little face time with the deity in episode 20. Rob Benedict is set to reprise his roll as Chuck, according to TV Line, and as viewers are well aware, the alleged prophet is also suspected of being Heaven's head honcho.

After disappearing into thin air during "Swan Song," Chuck made a quick appearance during the series 200th episode, "Fan Fiction." Once the writers confirmed his continued existence, the drama was primed for his eventual return.

What will cause the beleaguered writer to show his face? Is he ready to confront his little sis, or will he have a few words of wisdom for the Winchester brothers? Just seven episodes until we find out!

In the meantime, Dean will hurtle back through time in "The Vessel." With a little help from Cas Lucifer, the hunter will take a trip to WWII in an effort to secure The Hand of God. Sam, meanwhile, will unknowingly be stuck in the bunker with the Devil himself (see a preview below).
