Blair plays Jenner in the FX miniseries that tells the story of the O.J. Simpson trial, particularly from the media angle. The actress appeared on The Late Late Show with James Corden last night to promote the show and discussed how Jenner feels about the project.

"I think Kris is very supportive and I've just really fell in love with her," Blair said. "She's endearing and lovely and I had no idea. And I think so many people think so many things about the Jenners and Kardashians that she didn't give me her viewpoint any which way."

Some viewers have been unsure about the Kardashians being included in the miniseries, but Blair has her own perspective.

"People are gonna write and say what they want but this is not at all a takedown story of Kris Kardashian. They're foreshadowing what's gonna happen in the next generation," she said.

Blair also discussed how she looks so similar to Jenner, saying that "people went nuts" when they found out she was playing her. She admitted that she has gotten close to Jenner and the Kardashian family over the process.

American Crime Story: The People v. O.J. Simpson airs Tuesdays at 10/9c on FX.
