Selena Gomez is reportedly single after a number of rumors regarding her love life in recent months.

Although the 23-year-old singer stepped out with Samuel Krost a couple of times in January, and also embarked on a NYC dinner date in November, Gomez confirmed she was single during an interview with Ryan Seacrest at Monday night's Grammy Awards.

"I was with my best friends," Gomez told Seacrest after being asked about how she spent Valentine's Day. "We are all single."

Right away, Seacrest noted Gomez's Valentine's Day as "sad," and a number of fans weighed in on social media, slamming Seacrest for suggesting it wasn't okay for Gomez, or anyone else, to be single during the holidays.

Just weeks ago, Gomez and Krost were seen enjoying a date in Los Angeles, followed by a date in New York City, but sometime after, they parted ways.

Around the same time, rumors began swirling regarding Gomez's possible romance with Charlie Puth, but eventually, those rumors were shot down by a Hollywood Life source.

“Charlie thinks that Selena is great, but as shocking as it might sound he doesn’t want to pursue anything romantically with her,” a source told the outlet in January. “They had a really fun time but hung out in a sea of people that it was mostly pleasantries and such and then they went on with their nights. No couple here!”
