Pro dancer Derek Hough has weighed in on the possibility of Scott Disick competing on ABC's Dancing With the Stars.

Why Is Julianne Hough Not Returning To 'Dancing With the Stars'?

With new rumors that Disick is in negotiations to be on Dancing With the Stars, Hough spoke with People Now about making sure the reality star is in it for the right reasons.

"I'm not saying he would be like this, at all, but I'm just saying... people who come on the show who think 'oh, I'm gonna come on the show, make some money'... it doesn't really go over very well. It's a lot of work - it's really hard. But it's incredibly fulfilling if you really come into it with the right state of mind and the right intentions. It's the people that kind of come into it and go like, 'I'm just gonna come in here and just...' that never goes well. So anybody can do well if they come in with the right attitude."

Panthers Running Back Jonathan Stewart May Be Heading To 'DWTS'

A TMZ report stated that Disick was apparently asking for $500,000 to compete on the show, an astronomical sum compared to what DWTS producers usually pay their celebrities. But a new Us Weekly article says Disick will not be on the new season.

Hough also spoke about which celebrity partners he'd like to dance with in the coming seasons.

"I normally don't know the answer to that question but I do now. One, Tori Kelly. Tori Kelly, she's so beautiful and I might have a little crush on her," he admitted. "But also Gina Rodriguez from Jane the Virgin. I also met her and she's a salsa dancer. Like, she can salsa dance! And she's adorable so I dunno. I think that would be great."

Meanwhile, Good Morning America announced today that they would be revealing the season 22 cast of Dancing With the Stars on March 8, so be sure to set your DVRs for that.

Dancing With the Stars season 22 premieres Monday, March 21 at 8 p.m. ET/PT on ABC.
