Adam Levine gave some decent advice to one of The Voice winners.

In a post from People released on Thursday, Jordan Smith, who won the competition in Season 9, tells Levine in a clip that he's getting married and asks for any words of wisdom.

The clip continues with Smith sharing a sweet embrace with his fiancee, Kristen Debby, whom he got engaged to over New Year's. Levine congratulates Smith on "entering the world of marriage" where he gives him a tip on how to make it a better life for both involved.

"Listen to the woman, man," the Maroon 5 singer says. "She's always right. Even when you don't always think that's the case, make her feel like it is. Trust me."

Considering that Levine is married to Victoria's Secret model Behati Prinsloo, odds are likely the man knows what he's talking about.

Levine and Prinsloo have been married for a year.

The two have managed to keep details of their personal lives to themselves although they like to post photos of little things on Instagram that show what they've been up to. One of these moments includes coming home only to find a random swan lounging about.
