Dark Matter's beloved Android may be on the way getting her "glitch" fixed in season 2.

'Dark Matter' TV Season 2: Worrisome Episode 4 Title & Teasers Revealed, Who Is Titch?

The Raza's Android spent the latter half of the freshman season running diagnostics on herself, but when her tests revealed that something was not quite right, Five essentially chose to ignore the issue. We'd love for the Android to stay the way she is, but now that she's in the custody of the Galactic Authority, there's a very good chance Palmer's character could undergo some changes.

"There will definitely be some tinkering on Hyperion-8," showrunner Joseph Mallozzi said of the Android's prison stint.

But the question still remains - what exactly is wrong with the Android? Mallozzi laid out the problem while speaking with The Hollywood Reporter last summer.

"The analysis results point to a flaw in her system. Logically, she should wipe and reboot herself. Five, upon learning that, has the analysis wiped. Sooner or later though people will find out. Is it a flaw? Is it something disguised as a flaw?" Mallozzi teased, likening the issue to something akin to a virus that seems to affect the emotional section of the Android's neural interface.

Find out if we'll be faced with a colder, more calculating Android when Dark Matter returns to Syfy this summer.
