Two athletes are raising suspicions that they may be part of the new cast of ABC's Dancing With the Stars.

Is Blac Chyna Hoping to Compete on 'Dancing with the Stars'?

Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Antonio Brown may be joining Dancing With the Stars for season 22 this spring. This was deducted by PureDWTS, which reported that Brown just started following the official Dancing With the Stars Twitter account as well as the Twitter account of pro dancer Sharna Burgess.

With casting well underway, this would suggest that Brown is potentially involved in discussions for a slot in season 22. ABC does not comment on casting rumors, so this is not official.

Then there's UFC fighter Paige VanZant. She allegedly started following the Dancing With the Stars Twitter account too, but she is no longer following them--according to PureDWTS. Sources for that site reportedly say that VanZant's agent has been dropping hints about her potential involvement with the show.

Athletes have traditionally done very well on Dancing With the Stars in the past. Pro athletes Emmitt Smith, Apolo Anton Ohno, Helio Castroneves, Kirsti Yamaguchi, Shawn Johnson, Hines Ward and Donald Driver, Meryl Davis have all won DWTS.

The official cast of Dancing With the Stars season 22 will not be announced until March 8, so fans will have to wait patiently to see if Brown or VanZant are among the new celebs.

Dancing With the Stars returns for a new season on Monday, March 21 at 8 p.m. ET/PT on ABC.
