We have been craving for all things Empire as the Fox show is on hiatus. And we definitely got our fix with actress Taraji P. Henson this week.

'Empire' Hit With Another Lawsuit

She made an appearance on The Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon and dished on some of the drama that fans have seen taking place behind the scenes. If you follow her or her TV son, Jussie Smollett, who plays Jamal Lyon, then you know they often play pranks on one another when the television cameras are off. But the cameras in their phones are still running as they catch each other in awkward moments like taking a nap, dancing and more.

Henson opened up about these funny, candid moments Wednesday.

“He’s always there [with his phone]. He likes being slapped by me. He begs me to.”

She said that she has a little dirt on him too but doesn’t always show it.

“I have an arsenal. I’m not tit for tat. I’m a grown up. I try to rise above. We all have our limits,” she said before asking Fallon to show a video she got of Smollett.

Henson played another game on the show called “The Acting Game” in which she had to respond to situations that were written on flash cards. They got started (after her and Fallon’s intense warm-up session).

Henson’s first situation was her character Cookie being an astronaut only to find out that she has to stay in space for six additional months.
