If you're wondering if Teen Wolf's cast ships Stiles and Lydia as much as fans, you can rest assured that at least one actress does. Holland Roden is a card-carrying member of the Stydia fan club.

After two years of battling darachs, nogitsunes, and Dread Doctors, Stiles (Dylan O'Brien) and Lydia (Roden) are closer than ever. Stiles is no longer the love struck puppy who can't help but hopelessly try to battle his way into Lydia's orbit, and Ms. Marin long ago dropped her popular girl persona to dive into the world of the supernatural.

According to Roden, the time is ripe for relationship.

"I get it...I was once a teenage girl and as I told [series creator] Jeff [Davis], they want Ross and Rachel. You gotta get it," Roden recently told Hollywire TV. "So I'm doing my best for you guys, but Jeff's always said there needs to be a real friendship there first, something organically built, before there can be a real relationship. I think we're doing a good job of building that, so stay tuned."

It appears Davis is also thinking along those same lines. Following Lydia's "Lie Ability" Eichen House rescue, the showrunner teased a possible evolution for the friends.

"This episode starts two characters down a path that's been building for years," Davis told TV Line.

As for Stiles and Malia, well, that pairing seems to have quietly fizzled out. The werecoyote clearly still cares for her former beau, but her desire to keep him safe no longer seems to translate into a desire to hop in his bed.
