Samsung Galaxy S4 Launch Event Live Stream, Time: How to Watch Live Coverage & Blog Online At 7pm EDT
With Samsung set to launch its Galaxy S IV event on Thursday, photos and video footage of the brand new smartphone have inevitably found their way on the Internet.
Interesting enough, one of the early leaks actually came from Samsung itself, as the tech company took to Twitter to post one of the pictures three days before the official unveiling of the Galaxy S IV.
The extremely dark photo, which was put up on March 11, had the following message written below it:
"The countdown for #The NextBigThing has begun. Who's ready for the Global Unpacked Event on March 14?"
Huffington Post reported that the respective information had initially led most experts to jump to conclusions that it was indeed the model shown was indeed the Galaxy S IV, though there isn't any clear-cut proof that it wasn't just the silhouette of the Galaxy S III phone.
In terms of its device's features, Samsung is expected to roll out a larger 4.99-inch display, faster 1.8 GHz quad-core processor and a perk that allows users to scroll through webpages by simply using just his or her eyes.
The GS IV should also be equipped with 2GB RAM and Android Jelly Bean 4.2 along with Samsung's Touch Wiz software.
The rear camera on the future Samsung device is even set to receive an upgrade to 13 megapixels from 8 megapixels.
Design-wise, the smartphone is slated to appear strikingly similar to that of the Galaxy S III.
Samsung's Galaxy S IV is set to be revealed at Samsung Unpacked at 7pm EST on March 14 at the Radio City Music Hall in New York City.
