Kellan Lutz had some nice things to say about one of the most controversial celebrities of this generation.

On Tuesday, Uinterview posted details from Lutz who stars in the action film Extraction with social media celebrity Dan Bilzerian, who's known for his racy and shocking photos on Instagram. When Lutz found out that he would be working with Bilzerian in the film, he admitted that he didn't know much about him until his brothers filled him in.

"They were like, 'Dan Bilzerian! Oh my god, you gotta party with him!' I'm like, 'Why?'" the actor said. "And I look, and I'm like, 'Okay, that's why.'"

Once the two started filming together, Lutz ended up discovering more about Bilzerian than what others may have expected. As it turns out, the photos he posts on Instagram may not be the whole representation of who he is as a person.

"He's a smart business man, so what you see socially is what he wants you to see," Lutz said about the social media star. "The Dan that I know, he's a really great guy, like he's a really good, solid man. He's a no-bulls-itter. He's very direct, and he has no filter, which I really respect because in this town, I've got so many fake friends who just tell you what you want to hear. I mean, he's not impressed by anyone, and he's respectful to any new people as well."
