Last Friday, Broadway World released a synopsis of the episode that will air on Monday, March 21. When Mat and Mariana take on the roles of Romeo and Juliet in the rock musical, it turns out their feelings might be real outside the theater. And it seems that their emotions will be so big that they'll affect other people around them.

So as the remaining members of the family look into past events, Stef ends up receiving a phone call for a domestic violence situation. Little does she know that what she comes across will be much more tragic than what was expected.

There is also still the matter of Callie and Brandon's difficult situation as they try to avoid their feelings for the sake of Callie becoming a member of the family. In a previous interview with Just Jared Jr., David Lambert (Brandon) mentioned that it's confusing for the two of them to know when they should be spending time together or apart.

"It is evolving into this very strong connection, but in a different way where they do check in on each other every now and then and want to see each other be happy," Lambert said. "However, they also can't fully be there for each other just because of everything that has happened up to this point. It's a bit of both."

The Fosters airs on Mondays at 8 p.m. ET on Freeform.
