Beckett (Stana Katic) is going back to her old stomping grounds in the next episode of ABC's Castle.

Will LokSat Story Arc Return On 'Castle'?

The next episode of Castle is titled "Fidelis Ad Mortem" and centers on Beckett returning to the New York Police Department Academy following the murder of one of their own.

ABC has released a synopsis for the upcoming episode, which reads as follows:

Would 'Castle' Really Continue Without Its Main Characters?

"When a recruit officer at the NYPD Academy is killed, Beckett and the team go back to their old training ground to investigate, Meanwhile, Castle [Nathan Fillion] must reckon with a decision with profound consequences for him and Beckett."

As for the Castle decision, the promo for the episode shows Beckett going to him and saying she "can't do this anymore," to which Castle responds, "Good, neither can I." What could this be about? Only time will tell.

Guest cast for this episode includes Michael Bowen as Sergeant Joseph Ortiz, Evan Adrian as Bardot and James Morrison as Commissioner Malone.

This episode is slated to air Monday, March 21 following the season 22 premiere of Dancing With the Stars.

Meanwhile, fans continue to be worried about the future of Castle. ABC decided to renew 15 series last week, most of which were stalwarts for the network, like Dancing With the Stars, Grey's Anatomy, Scandal and Once Upon a Time, but Castle was curiously nowhere to be found. This may have to do with stars Fillion and Katic not yet renewing their contracts for season 9.

Castle airs Mondays at 10 p.m. ET/PT on ABC.
