Callie is really going to fight for Daphne on the next episode of The Fosters.

'The Fosters' Co-Creator Talks To Enstars About 'Jonnor' Storyline

In a sneak peek released on Tuesday, Callie is at a custody meeting with Daphne as they continue to try to get the foster mom to be with her daughter again. Callie gives a heartfelt speech about her friend and how her little girl is the one important thing in her life.

"She was a role model at Girls United and she really worked the program and got her high school diploma," Callie says about Daphne. "She's a good friend and a good person."

Chatter On Brandon & Callie's New Lovers On 'The Fosters'

This is when Daphne acknowledges her friend who would be there for her no matter what. And while Callie admits that the young woman has made some mistakes, she's taken responsibility for them and has done everything she could to get her life on track for the sake of her child.

Even though her daughter is already being taken care of by two other people who may be good parents, Callie adds a certain point about this- something pretty important to think about.

She notes that she was a foster kid, herself, and was taken in by two people who love her and she couldn't be more grateful for that. But her situation isn't the same as Daphne's daughter because Callie didn't have a mom to fight for her.

"If my mother were alive and she wanted to raise me, I'd want to be with her," she says.
