One universe might not be big enough for Dark Matter's Raza crew.

The Syfy series in the midst of filming for a crazy season 2 episode, and recent teasers have made us wonder if our criminal protagonists are ready to dive into the world of alternate universes.

"From Hyperion-8 to Balda-9, Regulus-12 to Earth, our crew will visit some distant locales this season - but next episode sees them journey to the one of the most far-out destinations yet," series creator Joseph Mallozzi teased. "It's out of this universe!"

Could this be what has the cast psyched for episode 8? Both Zoie Palmer (Android) and Alex Mallari, Jr. (Four) have taken to Twitter to tease the upcoming ep.

Mallozzi even tweeted about the timeliness of an article about parallel worlds.

Do you think Dark Matter will dive into the idea of a multiverse, or is this all mere coincidence? We’re hoping for the former, but we’re at a loss as to how One through Six would find their selves in such a position. Maybe a little Transfer Transit mayhem?
