The relationship between Norma and Norman is about to get more deranged on Bates Motel.
In a sneak peek released on Friday, Norma comes inside the kitchen where her son is there waiting for her. Clearly, that's not the warmest way to be greeted especially since she didn't meet his requirements of telling her not to go out.
Norma tries to ignore the situation by getting dinner started as Norman just hangs around with something that's obviously on his mind. They start to make small talk until Norman says he's not leaving his mother alone. Why?
"Because I don't trust you," he says.
He adds that his mom isn't in her right mind and trying to sabotage him. As the night continues, Norman keeps up with his demented personality and tells Norma that he can't stop this unless he does something he doesn't want to do; whatever that is, it doesn't sound pleasant.
The scene gets scarier when Norman walks over to his mother and tells her his suspicions about people who died. He tells her what he really thinks happened, putting all the blame on her.
Norman's telling the truth when he says there's something dark inside his mother that needs to be stopped. But the apple doesn't fall too far from the tree.
Check out the scene below.
Bates Motel airs on Mondays at 9 p.m. ET on A&E.
