Adam Levine apparently spent his birthday by himself- but that's okay.

The Maroon 5 singer turned 37 last Friday where one might assume he spent the day with family, friends or his wife, Behati Prinsloo. While he may have gotten some time with loved ones, there was one moment where he was all by himself.

Levine posted a photo to his Instagram page that shows a cake halfway gone. This was the man's good friend during his alone time as the singer used it to reflect on how happy he is to think about all the good things he has going on for him.

"I took time to reflect on so much and had a moment to genuinely appreciate the life that I have and the incredible people I have in it," he wrote in the caption. "I highly recommend taking at least one birthday in your life and keeping it to yourself."

It's pretty clear that Levine has a lot of things to be thankful for- not only has he released popular music and has done plenty of touring, but he's married to a Victoria's Secret model who is reportedly expecting their first child.

Prinsloo took to her Instagram page to wish her husband a happy birthday, calling him the "love of her life."
