The series creator of Switched at Birth assured fans that the final episode will be amazing even if everyone has to wait.

It was recently announced that the fifth season of the Freeform drama won't be airing this April and will instead premiere sometime next year. This clearly led fans to express their frustration and disappointment so Lizzy Weiss took to Twitter to give fans some generous words on what they can expect.

Unfortunately, they will still have to wait until 2017 to find out what happens after that mysterious phone call, but it's going to be a great season, nonetheless. According to Weiss, the final episode is going to be "kick-a-s."

Weiss added another tweet to her page where she thanked the viewers who gave their comments that were "compassionate, serene and hilarious."

The creator announced the sad news about the extension of the final season last week where she mentioned that she's just as disappointed as everyone else. She then added that it's still going to be worth the wait so all fans can do right now is be patient.

The last episode of the series involved Bay and Daphne receiving a phone call that likely came with bad news.
