Heidi Montag's former co-star opened up on the reality star and her life now.

On Friday, FOX 411 shared an interview with Whitney Port who made an appearance on The Hills along with Montag. Some might remember Montag for her infamous trademark of having a number of cosmetic surgeries.

Port dished on her old co-star's decision to do this as well as her marriage to Spencer Pratt, something she is more admirable over.

"It makes me feel a little sad, but at the same time, I think everyone has chosen their path, and I also think that there are a lot of positives that have come out of everything for them," Port said. "They're still together so I try to look at the positives that have come out of it."

The reality star then dished on other big names in the entertainment industry and why it's so easy to embrace popularity at a young age.

"When you're younger it's all about your squad and everyone wants to belong somewhere," Port explained. "But as you get older and older you start to realize you have certain friends for certain reasons, and not everybody has to be part of a big squad."

Luckily for Port, she knew her time on The Hills would come to an end so she prepared for her future a long time ago.

"I knew that the show wasn't going to last forever," she said. "So I knew I had to keep a plan in my head of what I was going to do after this."
