It's the tale of two Seth's as Seth Green has been cast to join Seth MacFarlane's new live-action Fox television pilot, Dads, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Green, who enjoyed success working with MacFarlane as the voice of Chris Griffin on the Fox cartoon juggernaut Family Guy and created an animated hit show of his own with Robot Chicken, is said to have been the final cast member to join the new television series.

The sitcom is based around two successful video game entrepreneurs, played by Green and The Mindy Project's Thomas Dewey, and has already received a six-episode order from the network.

The show follows the two gamers as they confront an unforeseeable nightmare, when each of their fathers unexpectedly move in with the two young men. Martin Mull and Peter Riegert star as Green's and Dewey's fathers respectively, according to Vulture.

In addition to once again collaborating with writers Alec Sulkin and Wellesley Wild, who worked together on Ted, MacFarlane will serve as an executive producer on the project.

The deal's confirmation arrives just two weeks following word that Lucasfilm had postponed Green's new animated Star Wars Detours series.

Green, who began working as a child actor and has been in the business for more than 30 years, is represented by UTA, Koopman Management and Sloane Offer. Robot Chicken recently received the go ahead for a seventh season when Adult Swim announced in October that the channel would renew the show.

MacFarlane recently was in the news after hosting the Academy Awards last month.
