Gay NFL Players? Ex-NFLer Brendon Ayanbadejo Says League Already Has Gay Superstars [VIDEO]

Super Bowl champ-turned-LGBT activist Brendon Ayanbadejo just claimed there are gay superstars in the NFL...they're just not ready to come out in public yet.

As per recent, none of the NFL players who have come out in public have really been top tier guys, so TMZ asked Brendon if we'll ever see an openly gay man achieve that household name recognition (you know, Peyton, Brady, Watt, etc.)

That's when he dished out that those superstar guys already exist, however, they just don't feel ready to share their sexual orientation with the world just yet.

The good news is that Brendon says we're moving in the right direction so it could happen sooner than later. Watch his full interview below.
