'Z Nation' Season 3: A Love Interest For 10k? Nat Zang Teases Injured Character's Future [VIDEO]
Z Nation's 10k has successfully avoided the zombie virus thus far, but the sniper might be hit with an entirely different bug in season 3. Our taciturn hero is in line for a bite from the love bug.
The cast of Syfy's zombie dramedy dropped by Salt Lake City's FanX convention in March, and, as their panel came to an end, the actors were each asked to furnish fans with one spoiler. While Nat Zang didn't dish on 10k's mysterious fate, he did drop an interesting teaser.
"I might get a girlfriend," Zang teased.
Unfortunately, there is one caveat - we don't know if Zang was being entirely truthful. The panel's moderator told the cast they could give fictional spoilers if they wished, but the actor's statement seems just innocuous enough to be true.
Before 10k can obtain a love interest, however, Z Nation needs to fill us in on his post-finale whereabouts. 10k took a bullet to the stomach in "All Good Things Must Come To An End," but he lucked out when the CDC promised to heal his wounds. Unfortunately, Murphy turned the Zona's submarine into a mini war zone as the episode came to a close, and we never did find out how the gimlet-eyed survivor fared in the aftermath.
One thing is certain - Zang's character is still alive and kicking.
"He's okay, but something totally unexpected has happened to him, and it will change his character a great deal next season," series creator Karl Schaefer told TV Insider.
