Update: Devin Velez has been eliminated from American Idol.

Another contestant will be eliminated from "American Idol" 2013 Thursday night and only seven contestants will remain in the competition judged by Mariah Carey, Nicki Minaj, Keith Urban and Randy Jackson.

Voting is now closed for the competition. Many viewers are speculating that one of the male contestants will leave the show tonight after he failed to deliver a good performance last night when he forgot the lyrics of his group song with the other two remaining male contestants.

" Definitely time for Lazaro to go! He screwed up with the group performance. Forgot the lyrics and was singing when one of the other guys was supposed to. You can clearly see that he has no confidence," Facebook user SueandTed Ashdown wrote on Thursday ahead of the elimination show.

"Why is Lazaro still there. The vote must be fixed because last week he was the Very Worst singer and not even in the bottom 3. Someone is keeping him on the show. Time for this No Talent guy to go home," Facebook user John Marsh wrote.

Keith Urban is scheduled to perform on tonights' show, the singer announced on Twitter.

"Psyched to play tomorrow night on #Idol.... I hope Randy and the girls put me through !!! -KU #IdolKU," he wrote Wednesday.

Also performing tonight are Season 11 finalist Colton Dixon and OneRepublic with Katharine McPhee from Season 5.

The "American Idol" Top 8 Results Show will kick off at 8 p.m. EST on Fox.
