As of Friday morning, the Twitter page for X Factor judge Demi Lovato has a new look that has some of her over 12 million followers worried and questioning its purpose.

Her header photo has been removed and instead of it is a black white space, which started the Twitter trend #DemiWhiteOut. Some fans wondering if the change was to create hype for the release of a music video for her new single Heart Attack. Others thought that perhaps Lovato was planning some other kind of announcement.

Tweets with the respective hashtag mutiple by the minute and some of the latest posts read as follows:

"This is fan abuse and I'm not gonna stand for it"

"I HATE WAITING. BECAUSE THEN I COME UP WITH ASSUMPTIONS AND THEN I'M DISAPPOINTED WHEN IT'S NOT WHAT I WANTED! fjsldhslaj"

" omfg #DemiWhiteOut what if its a new album or somethin omfg"

"this better be about the album or smth and not X Factor or im out"

"OH MY GOD DEMI YOU BETTER EXPLAIN YOURSELF I'VE HEART CONDITION AND I'M POOR"

"#DemiWhiteOut is trending cAN THEY JUST ANNOUNCE SOMETHING NOW THIS IS TURNING INTO ABUSE"

Heart Attack is available now on iTunes.

The last message Lovato tweeted was on Thursday, in which she told her fans, "Had an amazing time overseas and so excited to come home and share the news that I'll be returning to @TheXFactorUSA!!!" She will return for season three of the show, which kicks off on Fox on Sept. 11.
